§ 15-103. Establishment of speed zones.

  • Whenever the city traffic engineer shall determine upon the basis of an engineering and traffic investigation that a speed thirty (30) miles per hour is greater or less than is reasonable or safe under the conditions found to exist at any intersection or other place or upon any sort of street or highway, the city traffic engineer may determine and declare a reasonable and safe speed limit and the change shall be effective at all times when appropriate signs giving notice thereof at intersections or other places or parts of the highway or street.
