§ 15-147. Sign specifications, location.

Every sign erected pertaining to this article shall bear the word "STOP". Every stop sign shall be located as near as practicable at the nearest line of the crosswalk on the near side of the intersection or, if none, at the nearest line of the roadway. All signs will conform to the manual for uniform traffic-control devices as adopted by the state highway commission.
