§ 17-2. Camping restricted.

  • (a)

    The word "camp," as used in this section, shall include stopping for the purpose of preparing a meal or for the purpose of remaining overnight, or the erection of a tent or other structure as a place of abode, upon a public street or public or private property.

    (b)

    It shall be unlawful for any person to camp on the streets, alleys and public property within the city.

    (c)

    It shall be unlawful for any person to pitch tent or camp upon any property within the city that is privately owned, without first obtaining permission from the owner of such property.
