§ 20-118. Same—Application; fee; issuance.

(a)

Application for a septic tank permit, accompanied by plans and specifications and payment of a permit and inspection fee of three dollars and fifty cents ($3.50) shall be made to the secretary of the waterworks at the time of application for a plumbing permit and the fee shall be transferred and turned over by the secretary to the general fund of the city.

(b)

A permit for the installation of the septic tank shall be granted only after approval of the plans and specifications by the director of public health and assurance of compliance with the requirements set forth in state law.
