§ 20-168. Tampering with city's meter, equipment or other property.
(a)
No city meters, mains or piping, equipment or other property, whether on customer's premises or right-of-way or easement, shall be tampered with or interfered with for any reason. City shall not be liable for injury to customer, customer's employees or other resulting from tampering with or attempting to repair or maintain any of city's facilities, and customer shall agree to indemnify and hold city harmless there from.
(b)
No person except authorized employees of city shall turn water on or off in a meter box or break any lock on the water meter.
