§ 25-37. Conditions; fees.

All permits for the conduct of a taxicab business in the city shall be issued and signed by the city secretary and sealed with the seal of his office; it shall be dated on the day of its issuance; shall bear a serial number and shall show that the permittee has been authorized by the city council to conduct a taxicab business in the city until the expiration in one (1) year. The permit is subject to cancellation at any time by the city council. A fee of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) plus twenty-five dollars ($25.00) for each vehicle shall be paid by the applicant for a permit issued to him. The holder of a taxicab permit shall pay a fee of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) yearly for each vehicle to be operated in such taxicab business.
