§ 2-3. Municipal annexation plan, adopted.

The city council of the City of Henrietta, Texas, hereby adopts the following municipal annexation plan in accordance with the requirements of V.T.C.A. Local Government code, Section 43.052 et. seq.

The city may annex the following territory/territories in accordance with applicable Texas State Law.
Any territory that is located within the extraterritorial jurisdiction of the boundaries of the city as of the date of the adoption of this ordinance. "Extraterritorial jurisdiction" shall be defined by reference to Texas statutory law as it exists upon the adoption of this ordinance; and further the city has no plans to annex any area requiring an annexation plan.

Notice of this annexation plan has been given to all required persons and/or entities as described by V.T.C.A. Local Government Code, section 43.502.

The preceding provisions of this annexation plan are subject to amendment by the city council, be it to include additional territory or to exclude territory now included.
