§ 2-16. Meetings.

(a)

The second Monday night at 7:00 p.m., subject to the exceptions contained in subsection (b) herein, of each month is hereby established as the night and hour upon which the regular meeting of the city council for the City of Henrietta, Texas shall meet.

(b)

If the regular meeting for any particular month shall be unable to be held on the second Monday of that particular month, then the city council shall establish an alternate meeting date and hour for that particular month. The fact that such a changing of the regular meeting night of the city council of Henrietta, Texas will be in the best interest of the public and the city.
