§ 5-80. Validity of existing contracts or permits.

(a)

The terms of this article shall not be construed to operate against or upon any plumbing contract or contracts which may have been entered into under the existing ordinances, if the permit for the work under such contracts has been issued by the plumbing inspector.

(b)

This article shall repeal the existing plumbing ordinance but shall not repeal the provisions of any other existing ordinance of the city except such as are in direct conflict herewith, but all ordinances not in direct conflict herewith, shall be construed as cumulative of and in addition to the provisions of this article.
