§ 7-127. Powers and duties.

(a)

Recommendations. The board of electrical examiners shall submit to the city council written recommendations and suggestions for the improvement, enforcement and administration of this chapter.

(b)

Examination rules. The board shall adopt rules, regulations and policies for the examination and reexamination of applicants for electrical licenses. No rule, regulation, or policy shall be applicable unless it has been incorporated in the minutes of a regular meeting of the board prior to its application.

(c)

Examination questions. The board shall cause the questions to be prepared for all examinations.

(d)

Grading papers. The board shall grade the examination papers for master electricians.

(e)

Issuance of licenses. The board shall cause the issuance of appropriate licenses to successful applicants.
