§ 14-47. Prohibited acts and conduct.

(a)

A person commits an offense if he intentionally or knowingly operates or causes to be operated a sexually oriented business within two thousand (2,000) feet of:

(1)

A church;

(2)

A public or private elementary or secondary school;

(3)

A boundary of a historic structure or area as so recognized or defined under the laws of the State of Texas;

(4)

A public park;

(5)

The property line of a lot devoted to residential use as that term is commonly understood;

(6)

A hospital; or

(7)

A child-care facility.
