§ 5-133. HUD-code manufactured home/housing on individual lot.

  • The provisions of this article shall not prohibit any person from placing and installing a HUD-code manufactured home on an individual lot or tract of land. However, no person shall place or install a HUD-code manufactured home on an individual tract or lot of land if the tract or lot is already occupied by a residential dwelling or structure. HUD-code manufactured homes that are placed on individual lots or tracts of land shall comply with the applicable provisions of section 5-132(a) and (b)(2) subsections a. through f. as may be practicable. The plot plan or site plan required by section 5-132(a) relating to the location of any HUD-code manufactured home on an individual residential lot shall be submitted to the city administrator or his designated representative for pre-approval before the installation of any HUD-code manufactured home is completed.
