§ 6-1. Gravesite prices.

  • (a)

    Definitions.

    Adult grave space (resident [and]/or property owner of Clay County). A person currently living in Clay County or a person currently owning property in Clay County.

    Adult grave space (non-resident [and]/or non-property owner of Clay County). A person not currently living in Clay County or a person not currently owning property in Clay County.

    Infant grave space (resident). An infant currently living in Clay County.

    Infant grave space (non-resident). An infant not currently living in Clay County.

    (b)

    The price for each adult grave space at Hope Cemetery shall be four hundred dollars ($400.00) for residents and/or property owners of Clay County and shall be payable in full to the City of Henrietta at the time of the conveyance of the grave space to the purchaser thereof.

    (c)

    The price for each adult [grave] space at Hope Cemetery shall be one thousand two hundred fifty dollars ($1,250.00) for non-residents and/or non-property owners of Clay County and shall be payable in full to the City of Henrietta at the time of the conveyance of the grave space to the purchaser thereof.

    (d)

    The price for each infant grave space at Hope Cemetery shall be seventy-five dollars ($75.00) for residents of Clay County and shall be payable in full to the City of Henrietta at the time of the conveyance of the grave space to the purchaser thereof.

    (e)

    The price for each infant grave space at Hope Cemetery shall be one hundred dollars ($100.00) for non-residents of Clay County and shall be payable in full to the City of Henrietta at the time of the conveyance of the grave space to the purchaser thereof.

    (f)

    Exceptions to the price for grave spaces stated in this section may be made by the city administrator or his designated representative based on specific fact situations provided that no price per grave space shall be less than four hundred dollars ($400.00), excluding infant graves.

    (g)

    The ground disturbance fee for each grave at Hope Cemetery shall be one hundred dollars ($100.00) and shall be payable in full to the City of Henrietta at the time the grave is dug.
