§ 7-88. Failure to secure permit before commencing; fees doubled.

When a holder of a license or a homeowner fails to obtain an electrical work permit for a job before commencing work on such job, such person then becomes liable for a double charge for the permit at the discretion of the electrical inspector. The payment of such doubled fee shall not relieve any applicant from fully complying with the requirements of this chapter in the execution of the work or from any other penalties prescribed herein.
