§ 7-89. Conditions rendering permit void.

  • (a)

    Failure to start within ninety (90) days; abandonment for sixty (60) days. Every electrical work permit shall expire by limitation and become null and void, if the installation authorized by such permit is not commenced within ninety (90) days from the date of such permit or if the installation authorized by such permit is suspended or abandoned, at any time after the work is commenced, for a period of sixty (60) days.

    (b)

    New permit required; additional fee. Before such work can be recommended, a new permit shall be obtained, the fee therefor shall be one-half the amount paid for the original permit.
