§ 15-229. Fire lanes.
(a)
The city traffic engineer is hereby authorized to erect signs indicating no parking on either or both sides of any street when a need has been determined by the city traffic commission in conjunction with the fire chief and the city traffic engineer.
(b)
Any such street shall be designated a fire lane. All fire lanes that have heretofore been designated and signs erected indicating no parking in accordance with that designation are hereby approved.
