§ 7-143. Same—Issuance; terms; renewals.
(a)
Issuance. Qualified applicants for an electrician's license who comply with the provisions of this division shall be issued a license to carry on the occupation of master electrician or journeyman electrician.
(b)
Term. All electrician licenses shall expire on December thirty-first of each year. The annual fee shall not be prorated.
(c)
Renewal fee: Time of payment mandatory. The license may be renewed by paying the city the sum of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) or ten dollars ($10.00), within thirty (30) days after the expiration date of the license. If a license is not renewed within thirty (30) days after its expiration date, it shall thereafter be void.
